Blue Ray

I do not see the point of a Blu-ray DVD player. I understand that the picture is crystal clear and it is like watching the movie in the movie theater, but what is the point? In my living room we have a fairly sized television. If you have a nice television with the Stars or Encore channels then why would you need Blu-ray. Stars and Encore are in HD. I think the entire Blu-ray company is a scam. It is overrated. If your television has nice picture and you go to buy a Blu-ray, then you are waisting your money.

Seeing a movie in crystal clear picture is not everything. Some peeople just buy that kind of stuff to impress there friends or family members. You should be worrying about making your wife and kids happy, not your friends. If you are single then go crazy. How often do most of you actually watch a movie? If you watch a movie once a month you are not getting what you paid for, out of that machine. That saying "It pays for itslef" does not go good with that piece of machinery. If you watch movies a lot, then yes, the saying goes great for that machine.

I think that Blu-ray is taking money away from Stars, Encore, and even some television companies. I am perfectly fine with my HD movies on those two channels. I personaly think that it is going to be technology that is going to put this country in a bad position. We may even destroy ourselves by fighting over technology. I can see it now. "Hey I saw the Blu Ray first". "No I did!". Then random explosion. I am just kidding, but Blu-ray is overrated.

Apple

Sometimes I think that Apple is overrated. By Apple I mean iphones, itouch, ipods, ect, ect., for those of you who didn't know. I mean everywhere I go I see somebody with an iphone or itouch, sometimes I see them with both. Poeple act like they need one when they see it. Apple is also very expensive. I have gone on the Internet to see how much the new ipad is and it is $500. I would understand if it was a Christmas gift, but to just run to the store to buy it?

I have an ipod, but it is not an ipod touch it is just a regular ipod. I could care less if I ever got an ipod touch because I have a touch screen phone(the Dare) that I can sync my ipod music to. Sometimes I think that the entire touch screen idea is overrated. It is cool and is a great new technology, but too many people just take it too far. Since the new ipad came out everybody probably figured that they had to keep up with everybody else and the technology, so they go run to buy one or two. Then you have people who just care and will wait until they get a nice paycheck.

I think Apple should keep inventing fancy things like the ipad because there will always be people running to the stores to buy there merchandise. I think the people who think they need one should wait until they get a good paycheck. For the people who already fall under that category, good job. Technology is awsome!

Does This Post Apply to You?

I just decided to do a post for everybody who has a serios fixation for something or multiple things. I believe that people have an obsession for something or a couple of things because they do not have a hobbie, or being over fascinated with that subject is their hobbie. In my eyes thinking something is cool or wanting to do stuff that is related to that subject is cool, but not wanting to do anything else besides being attached to that object, subject, or whatever else, is where it gets weird.

If you are one of the people where you are obsessed with something because you do not have a hobbie then you should find a time consuming hobbie very quickly. Stick to that hobbie for a very long time, perferably until you forget what it was that you were obsessed about in the first place. If you are the other person that I exaplained, then you should think about finding a different hobbie that does not involve what you were obsessing about.

I myself have only been obsessed with one thing in my entire life. I was five years old and I was in love with the movie Toy Story. I had a Buzz and Woody doll that I played with all the time. That was the only thing in the world I have ever been over fascinated about. I have also watched my younger cousin go through many stages of fascination. From Pirates to Cowboys. Well I hope that all who have a fixation problem read this.

Another One?

I always have fun Internet surfing until I find something like this. I just found out that there is going to be another Twilight movie. Twilight Eclipse. I already have the feeling that there are going to be girls that are going to be dropping cash on bags and other merchandise from that movie. If girls and guys were going crazy and obsessing over New Moon, then they are definitelty going to be doing the same for this one. I am pretty sure that my eyes melted for a minute when I saw the picture and information.

I think I might just go to the movies and watch it just to see what a waist of time and money it is. I do not have anything against women personally, but I am glad I'm not one and I'm pretty sure my mom is too. I really would not want to waist my money for my daughter on that stuff. She can get mad at me and scream all she wants, but I would not buy her that junk. I would not care if she watched the movie a bilion times, but my money is not leaving my pocket to go to a bag with a picture of a vampire on it. With boys they do not go crazy over those kind of things most of the time. We are fascinated with action movies, car chases, and practical pranks.

After the movie comes out I am going to keep track of how many people I see that have Twilight Eclipse merchandise. If I see more than one hundred I let you guys know. Yes I will be counting the girls at my school. I will also be counting family members. It will be a personal project. iIt will be called the OVERRATED Twilight Project.

Lakers Winning Championship

Please do not misinterpret the title of the post. The Lakers are the best basketball team in the NBA, but them winning the NBA Championshipis where I have a problem. They have great players and do great every year and will probably win again this year. Go LA! I am not saying that I hope they do not win but there will consequences for them winning again.

The reason why I said there would be consequences is because I think we all remember what happened last year when the Lakers won. After the Lakers won the Championship thousands of people where roaming the streets and destroing the city. People were flipping over cars startong fires and lots of other stuff. I think that it is great that Lakers fans are enthusiastic about them winning and all , but they just get too carried away. Why can't you just stay in the bar or house you are in and have a good time. Why do you have to trash the city and get wasted.

People all across the country watched that and that is giving us a bad reputation. People see that and think that alll people in California are like that. I am pretty sure that if the Suns won this year there home town would not be flipping over cars and burning trees. That is just ludacris. I think I would rather have the Suns win the Champioship this year than to have to watch what happened last year all over again.

Justin Disgusting Bieber

All of you who like Justin Bieber are just creepy. I am not talking about all of you little girls, I mean all of you fourteen and fiveteen year old girls. It is just rediculous. I think that all who go to his concerts and actully listen to him are waisting you money.I think he is a five year old trapped in a sixteen year old's body. Frankly I think he looks like a ten year old. He has absolutely no talent because most singers these days have computers behind their voice that makes them sound good. I can tell you right now the Justin Bieber is no Chris Daughtry or Frank Sinatra.

The first time I saw Justin Bieber I literally thought that he was eleven or twelve years old. He is short and sounded like a girl the first time I heard him on the radio. I honestly do not see what neenage girls find in him. I heard that he tried to hit on Beyonce. That is just creepy. I would understand if little girls the age of five like him, but a teenager. It is the same exact same thing with the Jonas Brothers or Miley Cyrus. They should draw the attention of little girls and boys, not teenagers. There are girls at my school that actually like the Jonas Brothers and that is just not right.

There are kids at my school that laugh about Justin Bieber. I actually think that I would turn emo before I started to like Justin Bieber. He is just emberassing himself. Everything these days has technology behind it. The only singers that I know that do not use technology are the contestants on American Idol.
Justin Bieber is HIGHLY overrated.

Defining America-Marvel and DC

On my post Lets all Come Together when I said that sports(soccer) is the only thing in the world that is not overrated, I lied. Another thing that I believe is not overrated is Marvel. I love Marvel. I believe that Stan Lee has given America one of its greatest inventions yet. I believe that Marvel has had a great affect on the way America is.If I had to choose one word to define Marvel it would be Marvel. I would also say DC comics too. Together DC and Marvel have shaped America.

My all time favorite Marvel character is Captain America. I believe that Captain America represents America. The reason for this is because he is strong mch like America and he has his almighty shield while we have the Army, Navy, and Military. I drew a picture of Captain America not too long ago and it came out great.If you asked me who would win between Captain America and any other Marvel or DC character I would say Captain America. The one thing that is the coolest about Captain America is that he has no super power just his shield. My all time favorite DC character is Batman. What I like most about Batman is that he does not have any super power either. He just has his money, gadjets, and Rachel, his forever love. Batman also has the ability to be stealth.

I do not care what anybody says Superman is not the greatest superhero ever. I Superman did not have his powers he would be nothing. Captain America and Batman have helped shape America. Captain America is the greatest Marvel character ever and Batman is the greatest DC comics character ever. I have just recently created my own character and hope to show you guys soon.

And yes Captain America can beat Superman in a fight!

Star Wars

I HATE STAR WARS! I believe that it is the most overrated subject in the universe. I can't stand that trilogy. The only reason why I would watch it is because it has Harrison Ford in some of them. It is so unrealistic. Maybe in like 1,000 years thee things in that movie could come true, but not any time soon. There are so many people who obsess over that trilogy and have seen it a ton of times and I don't know how they do it. I tried to watch one of the movies once with my cousins and I just could not do it. I don't have anythimg personal against the people who star in the trilogy, or the people who directed or created it for that matter, I just do not lke the trilogy.

I think that besides Steven Spielberg, George Lucas is one of my favorite directors of all time. I don't like George Lucas any less just because he directed the Star Wars trilogy, because he is an American icon. He has directed so many great movies. Steven Spielberg has also directed so many great movies and that is not arguable. He directed the Indiana Jones trilogy, which starred one of my favorite actors, Harrison Ford, and he also directed one of the greatest movies, E.T. I love those movies.

Anyway back to me HATING Star Wars. I can prove that Star Wars is overrated by saying two words, CONVENTION NERDS. There are men in there twenties and thirties that go to those things and dress up as storm troopers or Chubacca. I think that that is rediculuos. I would understand if you were taking your son, but to go with a group of friends.

Most of my family loves the trilogy, but they don't obsess over it.

Hypnotizing

I was watching a show on the channel USA and then WWE came on. I can not even believe that people watch that junk. I hope that all of you who actually watch that show, know that it is fake. I tried watching it one time and I got a mixture of a head ache and I want to laugh at whoever watches this show, feeling. I understand if kids the age of nine and under like it, but there are adults that go to those "smack downs". I can admit that the people who do that stuff are good actors, but they hypnotize people into thinking that they actually beat each other up until the point to where they are unconcious.

The only person on that show that I have respect for is John Cena. He has starred in a lot of good movies like The Marine and 12 Rounds. No one else has done that. Anyway, I can prove that it is fake . If you have ever watched the Ricky trilogy, then you would remember when Sylvester Stallone had to fight Hulk Hogan. After they were done with there exhibition match Hogan said that they had to give them a good show, or something like that. Another movie that will prove it is The Wrestler with Mickey Rourke. Before him and the weird looking guy are about to go out and fight, they plan on what they should do to give the croud a good show. There are so many hints. I am sure that there are many more movie that I have not seen that give hints, but you will just figure it out the hard wy.

If you want to watch fighting you should watch UFC or Boxing because there is nothing scripted in that. I think that you adults that watch that garbage should really find something else to watch because it is sooooo overrated. Every time I see a WWE commercial you can believe that I will be laughing at all who watch it. Except for the little kids of course. Ali can definitly defeat John Cena.

Lets All Come Together

If it is one thing in the world that I don't think is overrated, it's sports. I love sports. I believe that it is sports that bring the world together and we forget about all of our problems. The sport I love the most is soccer. All sports are great but soccer is the most looked at sport from around the world. We have World Cup every four years and this year it is in Africa. World Cup is where every country from around the World comes together. I myself play soccer and hate it when the season is over. My friends that go to different schools don't really get to visit with me that much, so we get together every soccer season and play together. When you walk onto the field and you start playing you feel as if you are in another world. The soccer field around the corner of myu house has a certain smell and feeling about it that makes me want to stay there all day.
I believe that soccer and football are the two sports that take the most skill. Soccer is the hardest though. For soccer you have to be fast, you have to have endurance and you have to have good teamwork most of all. Some of the same characteristics are in football. Like football soccer is not a one man team. You have to work together in order to score. In soccer you have to pass to one each other and in football you have to protect you quarterback. In soccer you chip the ball to the middle for your teammate to finish it off with a headbut. Meanwhile in football you toss a latteral and clear the way for your runningback to go straight into the end zone. No matter how hard you try, you won't win the game on your own.
This year for World Cup I will either cheer for Brazil, or Juventus from Italy. Italy and Brazil usually win every other World Cup. At the last World Cup Italy won and Brazil came close. A lot of people in my family are Italian, but not all of them watch the World Cup. I have watched a ton of soccer videos lately and most of the teams look really good. I believe that every team is good, it is just that some teams have something that other teams don't. Some teams may have really good speed and shooting skills, but the team going against them may have great passing and shooting skills. All teams have a special weapons. For some it may be there best player, but for some it may be there arrangement of players on the field.
I don't care who wins the World Cup, I watch it because I love soccer all together. I also watch the Super Bowl every year. I don't usually cheer for anyone special, but if there is a certain team that is doing really good I will cheer for them. Soccer is my sport.

3-Dimensional?!

"This is REDICULOUS!"

I just saw a commercial that inspired me to do this blog. It was one of those samsung 3-D televisions and it just annoyed me. I think it is bad enough that we have childhood obesity across America and I think part of it is because of television. Now we have this? I think people are looking to much into this. I mean this is the twenty-first century and we are going through a period technilogical breakthroughs, but we don't need to be encouraging childhood obesity and making things worse. We should be encouraging kids to go outside and getting excersise. Lets take Nintendo for example, they created the Wii Balance board and Wii Active. It may not be for the outdoor world but at least it is something.

Some people act as if they have never seen a 3-D movie or television show. Maybe some haven't but that doesn't mean you go crazy over it. There are so many movies that come out in 3-D in theaters like A Christmas Carol, the new Shrek, Avatar, Alice and Wounderland and so on and so on. I personally think that if you want to see a movie in 3-D movie or anything else, that you should leave it up to the movie theaters. That is what they are getting paid for by the movie companies.Why can't you just have a normal flat screen with your Blue Ray or whatever. That is what Blue Ray is for to make the picture better.

I look at these new 3-D televisions as a way for the television companies to steal money from the movie theaters. I mean if you have a three-dimensional t.v right in your own living room, why go to the movie theaters and waste $25 or $30 dollars. That is just wrong. Not only do the theaters lose money, but the movie company, along with the people who made and acted in that movie, also lose money. Why make a movie at all? While the television companies are living the good life the theaters and movie companies are crying because they are losing money. We should just stick to regular flatscreens with Blue Ray because these new fancy(said with sarcasm) are highly overrated!

Spring Break

There will be a lot of you who might want to leave a nasty comment for this, but I think that Spring Break is very overrated. I understand that it is a week away from school and all work, but it is only a week. There are so many college kids that go crazy. High school kids do it too, but not as bad. Every year I see a report on the news that says colloge kids went crazy in Cancun. It gets old and it happens every year. Why can't kids just have parties at there house or an on campus party, with the permition of the Dean of course. They party like it is the end of the world and it is actually only a week off of school. I like any time that we have away from school, but I like summer better than any break.

I don't see why college kids and high school kids go crazier over Pring Break than they do summer. Summer is about two and a half months and Spring Break is only a week. You can do a lot more over the summer than you could during Spring Break. I look at Spring Break as a chance to catch up on work, sit on the couch, and hang out with my friends. I look at summer as two and a half months to party, play video games, run around town on skateboards with my friends and cause chaos. Maybe not so much of the last part, but there are more possibilities over the longer period of time. I am the kind of person to get out as much as possible and have fun.

Last summer I went on a cruise to the Cayman Islands, went to summer camp for a week and had swimming camp for a week. I did nothing except for sit on the couch and go bowling over Spring Break. I had a fun time doing both and would do it all again, but I could have done all of that in summer. You college students really should start going more crazy over summer than Pring Break because you are going to waist all of your energy and then you will want to go back to school. Trust me the teachers would not like that because they have to deal with students for nine months and they don't want to see you on their vacation.

I hope that all who have read this have a great time no matter what break you are on. Just make sure you have more fun on summer break than Spring Break. I'm just kidding have fun no matter what. Party hardy college students, because if I were twenty-one I would be, but I'm only fourteen.

Crazy Fingers

I just found my new favorite overrated subject. Texting. Everyone, including senior citizens, is doing it. I can't deny that I do it, but I don't go overboard with it. Some people don't even use there phone to call any more. I know a girl who had a $900 dollar phone bill in one month for texting. Let's just say that she would not get her phone back for about three months. I myself have gone over my amount per month and got my phone taken away. I still love to talk to people that I have not seen in a while, so I will call them.

I honestly don't see why people text more than they do call people. I can honestly say that whoever it is that I just explained, your lazy. How hard is it to call someone, open your mouth and spit out words? I love to talk and I do a lot of it, so I have no problem calling people. The one thing that really gets on my nerves about texting is the forwards. I can't stand them. Some of them are so pointless. Just last week I got one that said make a wish then at the end of the countdown do this and if you don't, your wish will not come true. I deleted it and laughed.

Depending on what phone you have, will depend on how much you text. I use to have one of the old flip phones and I hated texting because it took too long. Now I have the LG Dare and I like texting, but I don't do a lot 0f it. Some of you may have a slide phone or a new flip phone and just can't stop texting. I think that texting should be abolished from mankind. How is it so hard to just talk? It isn't! I will admit that I like to text, but only to a certain limit.

Twilight

I have another overrated subject and it is my personal favorite. I think that the Twilight series is more popular than it should be. I don't think that there is anything extra odrinry about it than any other movie. I understand that it is more of a girl movie, but I see so many girls around that have Twilight backpacks, shirts, or even merchendice. I could see if you had maybe a picture or so on your binder but I have heard of so many girls that are in love with Robert Pattinson. My sister is 26 years old and loves the movie and has read all the books, but I can't dislike her just for that.

When Batman The Dark Knight came out all of my friends and I saw it like three times in the theaters. If girls went crazy over a movie that was a hair away from getting number one in the box office, then I would understand, but Twilight did not do that well. I think I would watch Twilight if it had done that well because I will watch any movie that got a good review. I think part of the reason why I don't like it is because I'm not a fan of vampire movies. Even then I still would not watch it. I am not trying to say that I have anything against the girls who like the movie. I just don't like the movie.

Disneybank

Today's highly overrated subject is Disneyland. Complain and argue all you want, but it is overrated. You go a couple of times and it gets old. You end up waisting about $450, that's icluding tickets. You buy souveniors for you children, or for yourself if you are like me and my friends, that will end up broken in a couple weeks. If you think about it, depending on how old your kids are, they won't even remember when they get older. Then you have to go again and spend another $450. I will admit that it is a good family vacation depending on how often you go on vacation.

I myself have gone a couple of times and had a good time with my friends, but I don't think I would give my children $200 to 300 dollars to go have fun. If you have ever noticed actors, musicains, or even singers that are the host of a commercial. Well if they do that for a Disneyland commercial, all they are doing is sucking you in to a giant piggy bank that says, "I want your money". So if you think that Disneyland is the greatest place in the world I respectfully disagree.
